Even if the Hawks finish dead last, the chance that they win the lottery and get Hughes is only 18.5%. I wouldn't plan the parade just yet.

AND, this is a very bad team. Sikura's still in the AHL and we're assuming he can play the #1RW?!?! AA hasn't play LW is at least 4 years. And we don't have a starting goalie.

OMG...I was off by 175K......Actually because of incentives he will likely make far more than 925K....more like 3.775M...the rest in bonuses that count against the cap...8.5 for Panarin would make him the 3rd highest paid LW in the the NHL behind Ovechkin and J. Benn. If it's off, it's not off by much.....maybe 9M....

Who said it would be a good team? 2 rookie defenceman wouldn't make a great team...neither would the goalies....It a better team than they have now, younger and it would have vastly more potential that what is going on now....this team will take at least 2019-2020 to gel and work....perhaps another top 5 pick.....
