Would you buy out Matt Duchene after just few points in around 35-40 games last year?

Nooo..... thank you, Neal will be fine, he may not score 20 - 25 this year but there are parts of his game that are showing more lately that he can contribute and still but together a respectable year. A 5 million dollar year? No, definitely not but I think that his value will really show down the stretch into the playoffs hopefully. Valimaki won't move, if anything it will be Kylington but I find it hard to see him moving out either.

Yup, good work. There is no way a team writes a guy off 30 games into his first year, hence why Brouwer stuck as long as he did. Calgary has no need to get rid of that contract right now, they are second in goals for only behind Tampa, that gives us the room to wait and see if he heats up. He hasn't hurt us, it just isn't working right now. Giving up that package just to get rid of Neal would be a horrendous move.

Wouldn't buy out Neal quite yet. Wait until the next CBA negotiations.... bound to get compliance buyouts with the large number of bad contracts out there. If he hasn't improved, buy him out then.
