Not a fan of the whole "revenge offer sheet" meme as a serious idea. Why not keep the picks or trade one or two 1st rounders for Panarin or Tarasenko? I also think there's a good chance that one of Bellows or Wahlstrom becomes the high-scoring sniper we need anyway. Why give away so many picks just for catharsis?

I'm not "AGAINST" signing Duchene, but I do worry about signing Barzal the offseason after this one. It'd almost entirely depend on our ability to punt Ladd to Seattle, who they might be totally unwilling to take for any amount of pick bribery.

No thanks. Marner is great player but he's not worth giving up 4 first round picks. Sign Duchene and Stone and move on. TOR is gonna loss matthews to ARI so there is really no need to get involved. no thanks on elliot, no thanks on Benn.
