If you want Parayko the Blues would probably want you to add Evan Bouchard to the trade. Also trading two plugs to Ottawa will not get you Dzingel.

Why would Edmonton trade Talbot without getting back a goaltender? I know he's been bad, but Starret has unimpressive numbers in the AHL which could make him a total trainwreck in the NHL. Edmonton is tied in points with Dallas for the final wildcard spot, so I don't think they opt to play a young goalie who had a 3.01GAA in the ECHL last season.

The Ottawa trade sucks right now but could be a good move for Ottawa if Spooner turns things around before the trade is made. His Career ppg is .53 but he's been awful this season and was already moved once so it's not like a change of scenery would necessarily help. He needs to figure things out before he has any value to a team other than as a waiver pickup imo.
