Description
To be honest, I kinda just want Kreider at this point... I'd be willing to go for Bjork or someone else for this... Kreider is to me, a long solid top 6 player for now and the future. Good presence in front of the opponent net and able to provide offence. We know what Kreider can do.
Trades
1.
BOS
  1. Halverson, Brandon
  2. Kreider, Chris ($1,000,000 retained)
NYR
  1. Nordström, Joakim
  2. Zboril, Jakub
  3. 2019 1st round pick (BOS)
  4. 2020 4th round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
Conditional 2019 1st round pick: If the 2019 1st round pick from the Bruins turn out to be a lottery pick (missing playoffs), the 2019 1st round pick will turn into the 2020 1st round pick.

Conditional 2020 4th round pick: If Kreider scores over 60 points in 2019 (regular season and playoffs), the 2020 4th round pick will turn into a 2020 3rd round pick.

Yes I know the Rangers are in cap depth and that kreider is a LW and has 2 years left on their deal. The rangers has been rebuilding, as we all know, and taking a good player, like Chris Kreider, could definitely help them get a quality draft pick (top 5) and build the franchise around him. Of course the Bruins 1st isn't going to be a quality pick but their own pick would. Kreider is a solid top 6 foward and provides the offense to help the scoring on the 2nd line. He is also a hometown boy and would probably sign to a team friendly deal. Zboril on the other hand could easily become a top 4 and could help the Ranger's Dcore. And Halverson is just for another goalie prospect, and stat wise, he isnt very good so probably a AHL starter or at most a backup. NYR don't need him with other prospects coming up.
2.
BOS
  1. 2020 5th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Conditional 5th round pick: If Kampfer plays less than 40 games in 2019, the 2020 5th round pick will turn into a 2020 6th round pick.
TOR
  1. Kampfer, Steven
  2. 2020 7th round pick (BOS)

true, I probably would give up Heinen or Bjork (who probably is better than Heinen) for the 1st into a 2nd and the 4th into a 5th.

So Kreider for a 13F, a maybe never 6/7d, an almost 2nd and almost 5th??? Another way of looking at this; Kreider for an almost 2nd round pick. Then we'll have to wait 3-6 years, and hope he turns into a Kreider, let alone an nhler. Zero reason for NYR to do something like this.
