Description
The Blues should not be trading Tank or Schenn at the TDL. They should only be moving expiring contracts or older players. However, if they do then I would be looking to rebuild quickly and prepare for the future including Seattle.

Since I don’t feel they should be trading Tank or Schenn, that means those teams are coming to me to prompt the trade and I’d want to make sure I didn’t get f’d on the trade. Both players may be having off years, but that is not likely to continue and I would not be willing to trade them solely based on this years performance.

Why would anyone give up a 2nd for Maroon when reports are he's going to get waived? Also Boston doesn't touch that deal. DeBrusk is part of the future core and is in the group with McAvoy, Carlo and Pasta as unavailable for youngsters.

Yep. Blues can ask for DeBrusk, then Sweeney says give him Tarasenko.

Which doesn't make sense for them either TBH. Yes Senko is an elite level RW, but all your doing is swapping out a young cost controlled DeBrusk (who btw is on pace for 30G) for a higher contract that will push you closer to the cap ceiling.

Not to mention, it doesn't make sense for the Bkues to even trade Tarasenko. Especially right now when his stock his so low
