Description

Flames will needs some cap space to re-sign the likes of Tkachuk, Bennett and a starting goalie, as well as a roster spot for Dillon Dube. Valimaki looks good but with solid top 4 D and emergence of Kylington-Anderson on third pair there is not much room for him in the next few years.

Trade with the Habs gives Flames some flexibility with 2 years of Ryan's contract off the books, as well as an excellent RW prospect down the road.

Leafs add two solid young players at RW and RD for RFA rights to Kapanen next summer.
