The Draisatl trade gives the Oilers almost $9mil in cap space at the end of the year. I mean I don't know if they'd take it, but they desperately need cap space and unfortunately no one wants Sekera or Lucic.
I think the other 2 trades are right where they need to be. Over the past 5 years, the average asking price for a 60pt winger has been a 1st round pick from that draft. So if Stone is on pace for 90+, his value should be around a 1st round pick plus a Top-9 center and a cheap winger plus some prospects.

Of those six players coming back to Ottawa, the only one that really helps us is Carrick. Maybe L'esperance, but nothing about his college numbers make me think he'll be anything significant in the NHL.
