Yeah I agree. Murphy's been playing pretty good lately and Cole's been a healthy scratch lately which is saying something because their defense is TERRIBLE.

Cole has been a healthy scratch just to keep him healthy for a trade. It has nothing to do with his play. Actually has been our best defenseman by far.

As for the deal...as a pens fan this would be an absolute no brained to accept, but why would Chicago want to give all that up for a 2nd pair dman at best that wants more than what Murphy makes?

Cole will go somewhere like Detroit or Chicago to help young guns and provide veteran knowledge and play.

Too much for a ufa after this season from the hawks side they could do a one for one
