I highly doubt GMGM does that trade. Both players have played well under Gallant, I can't see them being moved for an older D-man in Cole and Sprong.

You have a better chance at getting Neal or Perron from VGK before Eakin and Marchessault

This seems like the type of players GMJR would try to acquire... I like the trades although I'm not sure Vegas would do that, they're some of the few cost controlled/young assets they have.

Yeah the other moves are pretty lateral that dont seem too far off value wise . But for Marchesssault being an UFA next year its too much to pay for a 3C and a rental. If it was a 2-way sign and trade it would be better.

I still like the Vegas trade. Even if it is slightly overpaying. Still getting Eakin for 3 years at a great salary.

Thanks, I just think we may have to overpay a little bit .... to get a GM to bite , unless its Edm. or Mont. because they are capable of trading anyone
