Borgman makes almost 1.8 now include bonuses. I doubt a starting Dman is going to settle for 1m, he'll sign elsewhere. But isn't this so typical, Leafs fans especially that they sign all these high price players by squeezing the salaries of others. The cap goes up 10%, even the low end guys will be entitled to some of that.

Not sure if you have eyes or not but hes a 5-6 dman at best. Plenty of them available to do that if he wants, or an elc

Plenty of 5/6 Dman? Leaf fans constantly go nuts unless they have six top four Dmen on the team,

No, but why would you think paying some 5-6 dman a few million makes sense?
