What if the Hawks trade for Panarin?

          well as of right now, in my personal opinion, anisimov is an improvement over wennberg in that last move. This move would be when the Jackets have many players ready for a huge raise and can't fit them all.

          They traded Anisimov cause Torts didn't like him ever. Not in NYR or CBJ. They wont take him back.

          Most of the players they've been bringing back are over 30 & not as good as they used to be. Saad being a notable exception.
          In addition to being in 1st place in their division 30 games into the season, I don't CBJ see having a need to trade Panarin this year. He's signed through next season and they're in a better cap position as of today. In order to trade for him the Blackhawks would essentially have to over-pay at a time when it looks like they need to hang onto draft picks & hope some of their prospects develop.
