I know you're just the messenger so my comments are strictly directed at the rumour. I just don't see the point in moving out the depth at Centre for a D-man that can't crack the lineup in pittsburgh and back-up depth in net (when they already picked up Picard for that purpose). Bozak has looked lost this year and certainly don't have an issue moving him, but I think the depth at C is more important right now than another veteran 6-7th d-man

I Agree. Although Gustavsson Is An Interesting Prospect, I Wouldn't Consider Him Depth. And Cole In My Opinion Is A Better Depth Player Than Polak. But I See The Advantages Of Having Depth At Center Too With Bozak.

The Pens fans that post trades for Bozak, Haula, Neal, etc often can't see the value that these players have for their current teams. Now while the addition of Gustavsson makes it more attractive to the Leafs, the Leafs do have four minors league/NCAA/junior goalies who they like. So while the trade may be generous, Matthew is injured, I imagine the Leafs don't want to make a playoff with Kadri and Moore as the only two NHL experienced centres.
