I'd be careful about acquiring Hjalmarsson. He's a great defender and an absolute warrior, but he's got a lot of miles on him and because of that his game and health may fall off fast.

A deal could be had there, though I'm not sure Beaulieu is any real significant upgrade over the bottom pairing guys we have already. Looking more for someone in a Top-4 role. If Beaulieu is the best I could get, I'd do the deal for the lower of NYI/CGY 2nd

That's a fair point, but he has 1.5 years left on his contract where I'm proposing AZ retains half of the money. Isles are on the hook for $2.05M next season. I think that's worth the gamble, they need a proven Top-4 guy

All good options. i would say Scandella won't cost you nearly that much. Aide from Pysyk, he's the least valuable up there. (Still good though)
