I think that Radulov contract might not look so good in a few years, but we will see.

As for the Schenn deal, I see your logic here but I still think PHI would want 2 1sts no matter what. Shaw has more value than Lehtera, but they knew they could afford Lehtera for 2 years with no harm to their assets. Maybe even like you said, no Shaw, but 2 1sts and maybe a later pick coming back to MTL... hard to take the context away from that trade.

You say if MB was more risky, but you take back the Serge-Drouin trade? I thought that was a risky move. These trades are more based on hindsight than risk IMO.

when i heard Schenn/Johansson and recently Vatanen were being shopped around, or in the Johansson trade after i heard the trade, i tried to find anything to at least see if MB was in on it even slightly as we couldve afforded to pay what was paid for those players. In all 3 cases im like wtf right after finding out virtually nothing. The only reason i reverse the drouin /serge trade is because of the trades made here and our back end being very weak and we wouldnt need drouin. hindisght 20/20 sure but even when these trades were made i was smh at MB

Why? Would Anaheim want a $5.5 million Petry Petry wont waive for Anaheim he took Montreal for a reason to be close to his Michigan home he pretty much said that he wanted to be close to his Michigan home when he was dealt from Edmonton.

If MB took some risks? shakes head

I want MB to never take another risk as long as he is GM of MTL. Every thing he touches turns to sh*t! He's the worst risk taker.
