I am a DIE HARD HABS FAN !!! I am tired of everyone thinking that we have a team that can win a cup. Holy crap BATMAN are most of you people have your head in the sand. We have not drafted very well as well as we have traded away 2 of of best D-men in the last while.

When are the people of Quebec going to wake the hell up and realize that our FRENCH speaking GM's and coaches are not working. It is time for Montreal to go back and hire the best candidates that are available for the positions. We're never going to win a cup again on the pace that we are on right now.

Sorry to all the FRENCH speaking fans of the habs, but the truth is the truth.

Here is what I think needs to happen in the near future to start a rebuild and get the best return on some of our players before their value falls off the face of the earth !!!

You are an Idiot if you think the language is the problem.

We have a team who can't afford to tank for 10 years like the Leaf or Oiler... So like every team in our position, it is a cycle, improvements are made every year, sometime we lose a key player like markov, We find another... It happens. Don't blame the language

MTLaveragefan. I don't think the Leafs and the Oilers tanked for ten years as you suggest. They were just bad. And the Leafs did spend to the cap...though with great inefficiently.
Voyageurs: It isn't a having a French GM that is the problem, Just look at other poor teams.....Leafs, Oilers, Sabres through the years, not one so called French Canadian in the lot I believe. Bad luck, incompetency, incapable, knows no ethnic background.

It is not that I dislike French Canadiens, all I am saying is that we rehire a coach who was fired before Therrian waa hired and we bring him back again. Stop and think about that one. You are telling me that there was no other coaches available. Come on please. Why must the GM and coach now always have to speak french, is this not a bilingual country ? All I am asking for is to hire the best candidate for the job!!! Whether they are French or
English !!!!! Stop bringing people back who CAN NOT DO THE JOB !!!!
