GmJR had a chance to resign Cullen in the off season .... Don't see them giving up Sheahan for someone well past thier prime

You clearly didn’t see Cullen in Pittsburgh the past two years. He was great. He’s not a fit in MIN.

Riley Sheahan on the other hand is completely useless. Awful offensively. Average defensively.

That is so terribly inaccurate. Sheahan has outperformed Bonino so far this season both offensively and defensively and is usually playing with the likes of Hagelin and Hornqvist.

Have you been watching the same team??? Sheahan is unwilling to go to the dirty areas. He can’t score. He’s so bad offensively that a winger has taken his center spot on the power play.

Look at something other than NHL.com stats before making an assessment.

The thing I don't understand about the trade thread is... okay... Sheahan has been awful and Cullen was great.... why would Wild trade Cullen for an AWFUL player???

Look at NHL.com? What do you mean? I've been watching him ever since he's gotten to the Pens and he's gotten better and better. He's having a better season than Bonino overall, and he's playing with worse wingers half the time. He plays with Hagelin and Hornqvist usually, and is only beginning to play with a Guentzel and Sprong. He had a great game tonight no? Just because Guentzel, a 1LW takes his spot on a powerplay unit, doesn't mean he is bad. He's a 3C, he's what you would expect. But I guess I just get all this at NHL.com
