How has Kronwall looked this year? Been wondering if Babcock would look to add his experience to the Leafs' backend

Haven't watched as much as I'd like this year but you can tell he's still a smart player but he looks much slower than everyone else out there. If he played in a sheltered role in Toronto he would probably do quite well.

Actually Kronwall hasn't played half bad the guy does have a lot of heart and soul have to give him that much.

Well yeah he's going to be much slower the guys knees are shot, Pretty much any one else would walk away from the game with his issues. But not Kronwall.

How are the Wings screwed? Detroit has close to $13 million the reported salary cap could go up to $80 million so close to $18 million and with Franzen on LTIR Detroit could have near $22 million to spend way more then enough to sign Larkin, Mantha, AA, Frk, Bertuzzi and bring up other players like Hicketts, Rasmussen Svechnikov Cholowski etc.

The Nyquist deal is workable; I'm just kind of ambivalent because we already have three scoring RWs in Anderson/Atkinson/Bjorkstrand. (Contract isn't an issue since his ends in time for our Core Player Retention Apocalypse.)
