Would love to see Karlsson in Tampa but Karlsson $13 million Kucherov probably $10+ million hope that it doesn't come back and bite them.

The minimal salary cap is suppose to be at least $78 million possibly has high as $80 million to $82 million either one of the 3 would be ideal.

Ottawa would never trade Karlsson inside its own division, however, if Tampa somehow got him, I think he would take less money in Tampa because 9.5M=12M in Ottawa. Not to mention he'd be on the best team on the league.

Why would Ottawa need TJ? Instead give Brayden Point, and another prospect and a pick.

Your taxation logic makes no sense as is factually incorrect.

In Ottawa 47% of his income is taxable, in Tampa 30% is taxable.

Since when do "entertainers" pay the personnel tax rate? In Canada, people pay taxes where there are residents. Much of players salaries are incorporated What is Karlsson's residence, or Matthews, or Stroman. Folks that read personal income tax charts and take as what players pay are as suggested.....are factual incorrect.

I was wrong Ottawa would be 53.26% and Tampa would be 39.25%.
Which is a difference of 1.75M in taxed income if Karlsson made 12.5M in Ottawa, it would only cost Tampa 10.8M.

Well if all you know about what players pay in taxes, is the personal rate that you read on a website, the you are correct. Since players don't pay those high rates, the figures you quoted are meaningless.
