Man, I don't think giving up Nylander is worth it for Ekblad. I love Ekblad, but not that much, and he comes in at a higher cap hit then what Nylander will get. I do really like the trades but I can't see the leafs doing that. JvR, Bozak, and Komarov are basically rentals the leafs are gonna use for the upcoming post season... They dont want to trade them and are okay with letting them walk for free

While I like the enthusiasm and creativity, in your FLA deal, which I will touch on a second, I think each of these 3 deals are more fantasy world Leafs moves then anything else, unfortunately. Your deal with Pittsburgh would be complete highway robbery. There is absolutely no way I see the Pens giving up their first round when they are fighting for a wildcard playoff spot for Bozak, especially as a rental. That pick could be extremely high, even if it was protected. Your deal with Vegas would never come to fruition even though it seems like a fair-ish deal, and that is because Babcock absolutely loves Komarov. Finally, your FLA deal. Ekblad seems way too injury prone, Bjugstad is not a good center and I cannot see any way FLA gives up Tippett. Plus, I still believe Leafs will keep both Nylander and Marner.

Yeah for the last time Ekblad isn't getting dealt and neither is Tippett. Doubt neither team does this.

Ya, the Bozak trade is lopsided, and I should probably add a 2nd.
I think the Arizona trade is good for them entering the playoffs this year, especially with (3) 2019 2nds.
The Florida trade:
I know Ekblad has had injuries, but I think in TOR he can be relied on less with our system. His cap hit / age/ value fits perfectly for our team going forward compared to the Doughty/Karlsson idea.
I think Bjugstad is an upgrade at Center, but having a down year.
Tippett projects to be a high end winger, but Nylander's potential to be a Center adds to his value.

Overall I think FLA downgrades at D for a Large upgrade at Forward, while the Leafs do the opposite (for the interim).

So you feel the only teams posted here should only include players that agents or someone in-the-know has leaked that the player wants to be or will be traded??

I am a marketing manager for a company with 4 regional offices. I have no connection with real NHL GMs or player agents. I, like most here, look at our favourite team and see what we feel is lacking on that team. We then look at other teams and see if they have what we perceive would fill that need.

Some fans can see that their team's strength is the other teams weakness and a trade that would possibly benefit both teams can be made THAT IS COMPLETELY BASED IN FANTASY. Others just try to dump players to get one they would like to have on their team. That is also understandable even though it is unrealistic and would never happen.

Not sure what you expect to see on a fan site from people from all over the world of all ages. I will guarantee you though that someone else is going to wish Ekblad played on their team even though you are willing to let everyone know 'For the last time' that he isn't going to be traded.
