          You do realize that the draft order is created by the overturning the standings, and placing the lottery winners to TOP3?

          if that's the case, then Chicago must be second to last in the standings to get the 5th pick, because the 4th pick goes to the last team and the TOP3 goes to the lottery winners?

          I doubt, assuming Coyotes are the last one, that teams like Sabres, Senators or Canucks will pass Chicago in the standings, if CHI are getting reinforcements.

          Besides, that trade isn't enough. Byron and Benn get you a low first / high second pick, tops. Not a TOP5 pick in a good draft.

          dont really get the danault trade. we already are weak at center, dont see why wed ever want to trade more away
