Good trades value wise, but why would CHI want Cole? They aren’t going to make the playoffs and are giving up a highest pick. Also, Sharp isn’t the type of player we need. We need a LW who is fast and physical(Kane, Hoffman, Pacioretty). We only need that LW if we don’t acquire Pageau/Faksa.

Cole is pretty much a rental player and Chicago is only trading Sharp if they are out of the playoffs so they wouldn't need a rental. If the pens do acquire Cullen they won't need another aging veteran presence in the bottom 6
