Montreal - 2018/19 Retool Keeping Price and Webber

Created by: Thor
Team: 2018-19 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 7, 2018
Published: Feb. 7, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Obviously signing Tavares would be the least realistic move of all the above suggestions. He will be highly sought after, and given the tax situation and uncertainty with how good the club will be along with media pressure, Bergevin shouldn’t be banking on that happening.

Alzner is not worth a second at all.

Pacioretty can go for alot more. People need to stop focusing on Robert Thomas, the blues really like him and won't trade him.

The values are off in the trades.

The Alzner, K. trade made me laugh. Not because Alzner is great but it made me realize that Alzner's contract might be the worst in the NHL if a team won't even give up a 2nd for him, and a team that really needs D help.

God what is M.B. suppose to do with that contract....if he takes back 50% of the contract he just looks so stupid for signing it in the first place.

Trade him to Arizona to help them reach the salary floor? Trade him back to Washington take back 50% but in a multi-player deal and sell it as the price to pay for getting the other player in the deal.

i personally feel that st louis would do it. i watched a few of their games, and as soon as u shut down their top line, they cant score. tarasenko on 1 line, and pac on the other would really help them. like look at nashville. they got johanssen on one line, and turris on the other. spreads the scoring

nearly perfect i don't wont to trade gally and its not from favortism

Gally is the best in the locker future captain he does everything the habs need him to do and they will have cap space to keep him and..

Carolina easly says no and..

Montreal should easly say no

should have signed danaut and you know because thomas is your second line centre

Alzner will never net a 2nd 3rd at most

personally i would have traded shaw instead because defense needs tons of work still and since you are not considering him as a centre he has almost no value (locker room)
