Buf trade. Does this work for either team?

Created by: LeClairbear
Team: 2017-18 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 11, 2018
Published: Feb. 11, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Just a weird idea I had and was curious to see how it would look. Obviously Eichel's injury changes things. But this would give Jack a legitimate top winger to feed him the puck while Mittlestadt gets groomed for 2C. While the Flyers lock up an elite centering core to build around.

This is definitely interesting... only thing is Voracek is a RW and BUF is light on the Left side. I still probably would say yes. Good idea

Sure Filppula is going to waive for a non-playoff team? Not.

you didnt actually read the conditions of his NMC did you?
each season he has to submits 16 teams he'll play for
the guy keeps a suit case ready to go i'm sure ever since leaving DET

unlike Callahan he does not have full control

Try reading the details before commenting. Thanks. I was just being lazy there. There are a couple playoff teams that need a 3C. Flip wasn't the point of this post but if it makes it less confusing I will remove that trade.

ROR could get Vorachek straight up. Buffalo certainly wouldn't trade ROR for just one piece in return though.

Raw point totals don't bare that out. Voracek is on pace for 96 points this season while ROR is trending towards 56. I like ROR and center is the more valuable position but let's be real here. Elite playmakers are not cheap. Now if the argument is that Buffalo is tanking again and want picks and prospects only... fair enough. But don't be shocked if Eichel starts making noise about his best years being wasted with constant tanking and rebuilds.
