Description

This was just for fun. I tried to mke the trades somewhat decent even though it was hard to work around letting go some of the core players from 15. I know they’re bad trades but like I said this was more of a fairytale lineup. If this would ever happen(say by the TDL), i’d freak out like a kid on Christmas morning

Yeah, I really should have just stopped reading, right there.

But it does end up with a good team this year. I'm just not sure it's quick enough to beat Tampa or Toronto.

Rangers would have been better this year with Stepan, but probably long term better with the first round. pick they acquired. The Stepan trade was made to create cap space for Shattenkirk, so you can't have it all. Where the Rangers failed, is the "dead money" Girardi buyout, Staal overpayment. my opinion Lundqvist shouldn't be making 18% more than the next highest goalie. And Nash.
