Description
Hear me out. EDM needs a stud D and top winger, and they are loaded up the middle. McDavid will most definitely fetch them that return, plus rid them of multiple bad contracts.

You can probably get that return by using Drai instead of mcdavid

Nah, I just think McDavid is just about speed vs Matthews thats pure skill. Matthews is more humble, clutch, has more raw skill, and etc.

Also, don't know how you people rank him as the best player in the NHL. To me, he's still Behind Crosby, Malkin, Karlsson, Kane, Kucherov, Matthews, and Hedman

Mcdavid is insane he takes the puck away makes top defence work hard Matthews has nylander where mcdavid doesn't truly have a right winger to play with with that being said I think Matthews is a killer very good but not many can do what mcdavid can especially at his speed that's what makes him special you give him quality snipper like nylander or someone else he'd just 120 points

Mate, he had Draisital on his wing (who is much better then Nylander) and still can't do what Matthews does. He really is just a player thats based around speed. It shows on the PP. He looks far less dangerous then when given a break away for example. Also, if you're saying this, then why is TOR locked in for playoffs and EDM isnt? They definitely have the better defence, probably the same goaltending, and as you say "better offence". Honestly, McDavid is a great player, and he'll have a great career, but I don't buy for a second he is there yet. Not even close.

Kane? Better than McDavid? McDavid is better offensively and is a much better 2-way player.

Yeah I still say Kane is better. I'm on the hill that McDavid is all about speed. Hence why he is more dangerous on the rush then the PP. He's honestly a horrible 2 way player. They literally put him on there for the ocassional odd man rushes (They did with Ovi at the beginning of his career too). Still too young and inexperienced to be anywhere close to it
