With all those RFAs coming up, the only way I see the Avs going after multiple big contract UFAs is if they ship out Soderberg. There are cheaper options for a 3C/4C. Avs are looking good going forward though.

I think they do make a run at JVR, some Avs beat writers with insider team info mention that Mgmt likes him.

As per the above, plus I don't see the Avs breaking the bank for anyone. All the ELC guys coming up and it's going to have to be a pretty special player for them to go over MacKinnon's money in their structure I reckon.
