Sorry but De Haan is out for the rest of the year with an Injury, So he's not getting moved. Detroit gives up a 2018 4th round pick and gets back a 2020 2nd round pick. Yeah that's not happening it's either 2018 or 2019 at the very latest.

The Karlsson price is correct. And if you drop Johnson, that's the McDonagh equivalent price.

Ottawa says if you want Karlsson, you get Ryan. Their owner has said this year, in separate interviews, that the team loses 3M a month, and might have to move to be profitable, and has looked into options to do that. From a hockey standpoint, I think you're there. From a real life stated cost of trading for Karlsson, you're about 7 million dollars short on cap space.

I did this one before the news came out yesterday that Ryan would need to be added. If they take on Ryan, expect some sal to be retained, and bye bye Serg from the trade.

Well, if we're competing, I wrote one for Vegas a week ago, suggesting they could get Ryan and Karlsson for a mid round pick because they're the only contender who could afford to take Ryan without retention.

I wouldn't be surprised if Melnyk learned it from me.

But congratulations, all the same.
