Soooooo how we feeling about the trade? Sticking Out Tongue

IMO that was much lower than expected.

Same, I was never one on here to push for O'Regan. Everyone wants to see that BU line in Buffalo though. I have to bank on Kane resigning in SJ or else the sabres dont even get that first

I am livid. Terrible return for Kane. How does Nash get more?

He brought back so much more and Nash has produced less. NY got a 2018 First. O'regan is a bottom 6 forward. From what I heard, Botterill had a decent return lined up from Pittsburgh, late december early January, and he balked. The market got flooded and Kane started playing not to get hurt and now this is what they get...

I could see it, especially after getting his first playoff experience, especially in that building.

It is quite simple. Kane is a cancer on every team he plays on dating back to his junior days in Vancouver. I know guys who have played with him and they say he is just a terrible human being and not a team player. This is likely the best return Buffalo could get for him because there was little to no interest. Its hard to get something worthwhile for a guy nobody else wants. What would be interesting is to know what all the other offers were for Kane because if that was the best they got..... WOW he has no value.

That is the fine line between being patient and risking losing it all. Botterill didn't lose it all but he could of made the move earlier and got more. Sucks.

Habs are happy with a 2nd and two prospects for Plekanec however! Sticking Out Tongue

What do you think Reinhart catches if they trade him?

I dont want the Sabres to move him, and probably not a good enough value if they did. I'd want what I wanted for Kane, 2018 first, A solid d or forward that would contribute to the Sabres now and another prospect. I guess it depends which team was asking about him
