You already know Tavares and Karlsson isn't going to happen. Kane might sign with the Sharks, I'll be interested to see if the Sharks want to sign him since you always hear he is a problem player. If he smartens up I'm sure a lot of teams would love to sign him, including the Oilers and his hometown Canucks. Also Dell isn't going to happen, he's going to go somewhere for 4x4m I bet. Just like Talbot did after Talbot had a couple really successful backup years.

If Kane resigns, you owe the Sabres a first

I think the probability of Kane signing in Buffalo next year is higher than all other NHL teams combined (minus Vancouver)

Management barely had any conversations with his GM whatsoever and Botterill refused to comment on why they weren’t really looking to extend him and only trade. Why do you think that changes?

Dell has regressed to league average goaltending over the past 2 months and that's only in 25 GP. It's unlikely he signs anywhere but SJ. It's highly likely he would have been moved at the deadline for pick and backup goalie if someone wanted to take a chance. Sharks insiders said no one was even calling, so that's a big red flag.

Trading M. Karlsson, a solid 3rd/4th liner to talk to Tavares before anyone else, is likely a trade most GMs would make. Doesn't necessarily mean we sign him, but can hope we do.

I didn't know that, I thought I read recently that he was outplaying Jones and posting close to a .92 save percentage. I'll be honest I was hoping the oilers would sign him for 1 year at 4m or so to incentivize him. Then let him and Talbot compete for the next starter contract since Talbot has had an off year this year.

I just saw that and was coming here to comment that I was wrong. 2 years 1.9m. Good for the Sharks.
