Why would you trade for Johnson and then play him out of position? And anytime Phoenix is willing to give up a first round pick I would jump at it cause you know it’s gonna be a top 10 pick

That team is nowhere close to being a real contender, If Yzerman deals Tyler Johnson he's probably going to want an upgrade on D depending if Tampa keeps Ryan McDonagh or not.

“Not enough...contender” Full season of Raanta plus these additions puts them on the map

“Johnson out of position” Johnson has had success on the wing and it gives that line flexibility to have Strome rotate out to the wing should he struggle with faceoffs in his first full NHL season.

“Yzerman...wants and upgrade on D” Are you aware what position Capibianco plays?

Better off keeping Goligoski, at least he can skate, move the puck, and chip in with points. All you'd get in Staal is a pylon with a massive injury history. Also, why trade away one of the few snipers AZ has in Perlini? If you're wanting to get Tyler Johnson, move Dvorak or Domi

I don't understand why Arizona would trade away their 2019 1st, Perlini+ for Johnson. Sure, Johnson's a great player but this is a questionable move because it could be a pretty high pick. To tell the truth i don't think Arizona is too far away from being a good team but with how bad they're doing last year it's definitely a potential top 5 pick. And i don't understand the name of the team (Contending for Real). This doesn't look like an actual cup contending team to me.

Your assertion that Arizona isn't too far away and the idea that this isn't a cup contending team are in direct conflict with one another. Kind of like your profile name if that's seriously what we're commenting on.
