Wild trade is a big gamble for NYR. Wild get a top-10 pick and 2 signed prospects for what could end up being a whole bunch of nothing for NYR.
-Kaprizov can't come over until the 20-21 season at the earliest (maybe the 19-20 Playoffs?). The KHL's 18 month contract buyout warning pretty much guarantees that. He could possibly never come over to the NHL (I think he does after this current contract is up).
-Greenway could go back for his Sr. year and become a FA after next season (I'm hoping he signs after his college season is done this year). I'm cautiously optimistic that he'll be a top-6 wing, but he's a project imo.

I think it's overpay from NYR, but I'm not sure GMCF makes the trade (he should jump all over it).

Nope giving up to much for nothing but chances NYR would rather pick the type of player they want to groom. Also lost all care for this when i saw kovalchuck again.........just dumb

Yikes, Im not sure I agree with any of this. IMO keep the picks and draft the players yourself. That would way better I think.

haha you're fired. please don't post again.

"Guess what dad I traded 3 1st rounders AND Zuccarello AND Deangelo AND Vesey!"

"Wow son! you must've gotten quite a haul...like at least one person with McDavid or Matthews level talent, or even anything close to that!"

"Actually dad, I got The Flames 3rd best D Prospect, A kid in the KHL who won't come over for at least a couple years, A cap dump, a Goon, and a couple 1st round picks next year from teams who will probably be in the playoff hunt"

    "You've done irreparable harm."
