I don't think Carlo and Henien get Rantanen.

I don't see how this team is better than this years team by the moves you've made.

I'd also say that you'd have to up your offer for Rantanen.

DeBrusk on the forth line is interesting, consider he's been one of the B's better offensive players this year and has chemistry w/ Nash & Krejci.

Rantanen is sitting at no. 12 in scoring this year and will probably end up top 10 based on the tear he's on. Same age as Carlo, younger than Heinen. Carlo and Heinen are good players but he's worth more than those two IMO. Would you trade Marchand for two good players? Probably not. Now picture if Marchand was putting up his current numbers at age 21...

Avs laugh and hang up the phone, you arent getting Rants for that. He is a top 10 scorer in the league right now and I think Top 3 in RWs at 21 years old.

Carlo is fine but the shine is off him big time now, start of last year everyone was hammering how he is a stud and is a non starter in any trade. Now hes just your average 21 year old Dman developing in this league, still a long way to go with that kid. Heinen is decent too but he wouldnt be over throwing any of the Avs current Cs in MacKinnon, Jost, Compher, Soderberg....and they are trying to find a spot for Kamenev and Kerfoot.

Terrible trade for the Avs needs and under valuing Rantanen

Trade is not even close. You better get adding big time if you want to sniff Rantanen, and even still...They're not going to move him. They have zero reason to. DeBrusk to the 4th line? Terrible. How does that make sense? Especially when you have Schaller over him. Rick Nash and Nick Holden easily get more on the market. The defense is not any better than it was with Carlo. Wingels at 1.25? What has he done this season to warrant that kind of increase in salary? He made 750k this year, and will make something similar for the remainder of his career, unless he somehow finds the game where he was a 15G/40+ points 3rd line centerman that he was in SJ. I doubt it though. Nice role/depth player. Not worth overpaying.

Not a fan of this, just because the trade is unrealistic....It doesn't even fill a need, and everything else is meh.

In fairness, Heinen isn't a C in the NHL. He's played LW/RW since day 1 in pro hockey.
