Values are off man.
Far from enough for Maata, he is the pens best defenceman on the left-side and a solid partner for Letang.
Way too much for O'reilly, and not a good way to get our no.1 center. Drafting and developping is the way to build a good team not trading or signing free agents.

Dumoulin over Maata and they create some cap space

Idk that any of those trades go through?

As a Sabres fan,
I don’t think we’d trade O’Reilly for just a pick unless it was a top4 overall
And if u guys are picking top4,
I’d guess u probably wouldn’t give that up for O’Reilly

Also,
O’Reilly takes every meaningful faceoff for us, especially in the defensive end
We don’t have anyone to replace that right now,
so we might not even be willing to trade O’Reilly until we see what we have in some of the young Centers that are about to break into the league for us

Interesting ideas though
It would certainly help u guys down the middle since it seems like Drouin & Galchenyuk are better suited as wingers

Hard pass for pens. No way we move maatta for that package. Dallas wouldn’t move a young big strong centre in faska either for that

I dont think Montreal would give that up for ROR, and I think Buffalo would want a little more back too

Dont make Pittsburgh look better. They’d find a way to make that trade look like a steal. (And MTL would screw up Maatta’s career). If there’s a top 10 pick at this draft that’s a C, pick him, and if not, pick a D, but do not trade it for a veteran C like ROR. The Faksa trade would b interesting if Dallas doesn’t have space to move him up the lineup in the middle.

You're making an already weak Penguins D worse . . .

ROR for 1st, in a NY second yes. ROR may win more face-offs than any one else in the NHL but watch the games and when he carries the puck to the offensive zone blue line he dumps it in and surprise surprise he turns it over to the other team. Yes more than a 1st would be better but he is a loser here and he was a loser in Colorado. Look how well the Aves are doing now that he and Matt are gone. Botterill needs to trade more of these losers.

IDK about the other trades. But I am giving you 5 stars for the ROR trade.
