Jason Zucker is better than Yanni Gourde.
Ryan O'Reilly and Jonathan Toews have a marginal difference that is negligible.
Nikita Kucherov is Nikita Kucherov
Oscar Klefbom is vastly better than Nick Hjalmarlsson.
John Klingberg is better than Nate Schmidt my nearly a mile.
John Gibson is better than Carter Hutton.

Your opponent only made an honest mistake. And I'm not trolling, only questioning many of your choices and thought processing. It's not my fault you haven't been able to respond properly to my main arguments against yours

The users who are trying to facilitate an intellectual conversation re: lineups and allocation of funds are now trolls. I don't know how many more times I need to say it was an accident. If I wanted to cheat, I would use better players than Jason Zucker.

Here's my take:

Bailey > Zucker
Toews = O'Reilly
Perron <<<<<<<<<< Kucherov
Moore <<<<<<<< Klefbom
Schmidt < Ellis/Trouba/Dumba
Hutton << Gibson


I think Toews is better than O'Reilly (but his contract is worse), but still, yeah, the one with O'Reilly is a better team.

That's honestly debatable and could go either way. That's why I valued then as equals. As you say, either way it doesn't matter as John Moore or Nate Thompson isn't going to form a strong backend

Maybe you should see about a Nate Schmidt card. Those are some of the most valuable hockey cards right now IMO ... or not.
