I don't think you can get that much for EK if EDM is taking Gaborik. They're gonna have some cap troubles and I don't think it is gonna make sense. I do think Pager for TVR would be really interesting. I would not trade for Methot. the team needs to move forward, and I would have Chabot Claesson Wolanin is our left side next year.

I'd leave Gaborik out of the trade to maximize the return (what you have there is pretty good) and just buy Gaborik out; it's a very reasonable deal.
I'd also keep Pageau, especially if that's the return. He's clicking at about .80 points per game since taking Brassard's spot and is a beast on the PK. Move Smith instead.
And I agree about Methot. Too old and too many injuries. Between Chabot, Dahlin, Wolanin, and Boro, our left side is fine.
As for the right side TVR isn't really needed: I think Pokka or Jaros would be fine taking the 3rd pairing.

That Karlsson trade sucks! I want good pieces, not a bunch of overrated players and a couple of picks.
