Well said. Take the best player available, not positionally based. Also, Dyrsdayle would not be a good pick at #4, he's good, but he's not good enough for that to be a good selection.

The issue is, Brodin is quite a bit better than those guys. I would probably suggest the NYI 1st and the OTT 2020 2nd...IF...it came with that extension. Other wise the NYI 1st and some kind of conditional pick.[/quote]

Okay thanks for that info. I still think that's a deal well-worth it for us. We have so many draft picks, it would be a shame if we weren't able to flip any of that into capital.

I think it's the way to go if he's hitting around 30-40 points. However, as someone who watches almost every sens game, he's impressed me the most out of any of our prospects. He was really finding his game in the last 10 games of the season or so. Call me crazy, but I do believe he'll be hitting 20+ goals and 30+ assists next year.
