I can't go so far as to say that there is no package the Sens could offer that would make it acceptable to trade Panarin and Wennberg both, but damned if I can think of what it would be. Sure as hell it isn't that pile of nonsense - we're not giving up two core roster players in exchange for only one and a bunch of whatever.

EDIT: It occurs to me that referring to that as "a bunch of whatever" would be easily misinterpreted as dismissing some significant assets, so let's elaborate.

Here is the useless noise that does absolutely nothing for us and adds nothing to the deal:
Harpur (we're massively overstrength on LHD; he'd be playing in Cleveland)
    Claesson (ditto; he'd walk)
    2020 2nd
    2019 6th
    2019 3rd

Here are the parts that actually are of some possible interest:
    Hoffman
    White
    1st 2018

Condon actually detracts from the proposal's value, because we have zero use for him but his contract gets in the way of retaining our guys.

So. Setting aside the "noise"... Panarin is a considerably better player than Hoffman, ditto Wennberg versus White (if White was able to prove himself at the NHL level sufficiently for our needs, he'd have more NHL time with y'all by now), and the 1st, albeit significant, is not particularly valued here because we already have one of the youngest teams in the NHL (the youngest before the trade deadline). And the draft's chief prize is a defenseman - a position we're extremely strong at. The net effect is that we lose a game-breaking forward that we're seriously dependent on and downgrade significantly at C for a probably high quality prospect that we have no need for. It's a significant net negative for a team trying to compete now - and that's before we throw in the impact of the Condon contract.

    Interesting...

Interesting but some of that is not realistic.

Example, Wild is not going to trade Zucker for a pick in 2020.

And 9 assets for Panarin and Wennberg? What is that?

Also, Flyers fans won't like that trade. Not sure why the OP keep making the same proposals
