    LMAO!!!! Andrew Shaw for a 1st round? Chicago says no! At least retain some salary before trying to dump a bad contract and expect to get anything back.

    I love that you guys are riffing on the Shaw trade. The Dallas deal requires a lot more scrutiny.

    On Shaw, you're all wrong. He's worth a decent second, assuming the Habs are willing to eat some salary, which they would be. So, to get the Nashville pick, be prepare to throw in one of the D prospects or a third/fourth. Simple.

    Agree with above comments that Shaw for a 1st (even a late first) is rich. His contract looms large these days.

    If anything, I think he'd need to be packaged in a deal with something or someone else.

    Also don't see DAL paying that price for that package. Heiskanen is on the cusp on being in their Top 4.
