Description
Re-up everyone from our bottom six, bridge deal for Wood.

I truly think Sevo is out of favor with Hynes and Shero, he was a Lou pick and really only had a good year when Scotty Stevens was the D coach, since then he has done nothing, brutal minus player, not even that good offensively. Therefore I say trade him for a LHD minute muncher. Jake McCabe is VERY underrated and would be a lot better on a better team. Trading Sevo also clears up cap space if we want to go after JT, JvR, Carlson or Karlsson. Unlikely but capspace is capspace. Plus Butcher was on the right side in college and has state he is most comfortable on the right side.

This roster is pretty full and still almost $10MM of room, we like that.

Saw over on HF boards a Oil fan suggested Sevs+ for PoolParty and a second. Asked what the + on Sevs was, have not heard yet.
If somehow we were to get Carlson, it makes Sevs more tradeable. What plus would you be willing to give up? Poolparty is a 18yo RW who is 6'4" and still finding his way (12G-8A= 20pts).
Didnt mean to take over your post just throwing more out there. I do think if we are looking at lefties its gotta be a #1 LHD, no twenners

You could get way more value for Severson.
Not saying I'd do this as a Blues fan, but what about Parayko + 3rd for Severson+McLeod?

OK, I think the trade for McCabe is fair, and I like that Buffalo is getting a RHD. So for making a trade that works well for Buffalo five stars.
