UNBEATABLE (LMK are these trades fair?)

Description
This lineup is a huge upgrade from last year. The only roster player you lose is Andrej Sekera. In comes OEL, Kane, and Yamamoto (in Spokane last year). The top 9 has a line driver on each line - McDavid, Draisaitl, and Kane, and they all have solid support players on their lines. That defense is also incredibly solid, by far the best the've had in years.

Sekera is just for cap purposes. The Oilers are tight against the limit rn but the coyotes have tons.

OEL is a #1 D, Sekera doesn't add much to the deal and the chance the first is a #1 D or and elite forward is not that high. I think they would be asking close to double that offer for OEL.
I also don't think Kane will go somewhere where he isn't guaranteed top 6 minutes.

Sorry, but AZ would just laugh and hang up. It was take probably Klefbom, Prospect and a pick to get the conversation started. Also if you want to rid Sekeras contract, better to trade him for a pick with Salary retained to a team that needs a 4-5 dman

This guys nailed it. Kane is signing in SJS anyway. OEL or Karlsson, even for 1 year, you do get the rights to negociate and sign him BEFORE the UFA market. Plus you can give him an extar year no one can...OEL is worth a top6 F, high end prospect, 1st round pick, 2nd round pick at the minimum.

Sekera has three years left. Arizona has a self-imposed budget well below the salary cap limit. the high 1st and 3rd might be somewhat close to a trade value for Ekman-Larsson, but then you also have to trade them for the 18M you're asking them to pay an offensive defenseman who just finished a season with zero goals, eight assists, and a -15 rating. You might respond that he missed half the season with an injury, and they might just nod, and say, "yep."
