Description
1.) ROR traded to MON for Picks Lehkonen and Schlemko (cap reasons)
2.) Lehner & Beaulieu traded for picks
3.) Larsson and picks (flipped from trades 1+2) to MIN for Coyle
4.) Nelson. Reinhart, Baptiste, Bailey (RFAs ETC) resigned
5.) Ennis bought out by MIN brought back cheap ( million dollar contract or something)
6.) FA Zachary Fucale signed
7.) Sabres WIN lottery draft DAHLIN
8.) Key prospects (Asplund Olofsson) play in Rochester.

A few general thoughts:

1. Interesting that you must have traded for Coyle and had to take Ennis back to make the trade happen....

2. No Rasmus Asplund & Viktor Olofsson.... I hope he was not included in the trade.

3. Lehkonen a nice add..... who did you have to send to Montreal;

4. Who did you get for moving ROR.

5. Johnson said in his year end presser that if he knew the Sabres were going to be this much of a train wreck he would have never signed here so I can see him back on the team;

6. Casey Nelson did not get resigned;

7. Mittelstadt is not ready to be a #2 Center;

About point number 2, Asplund and Olofsson are unlikely to be in Buffalo, especially with Botterill's philosophy of slow cooking players in the AHL. They'll be in Rochester.

You are correct no way that GMBots brings those boys to this dumpster fire. They will spend a year in Rochester along with Griffith, Smith, Nylander (possibly) and the first round pick this year..... I am not looking to 2018/2019 for me it is about 2019/2020 & beyond......

So I couldn't figure out how to orchestrate trades in this create-team scenario. There are some player i forgot as you mentioned, Nelson I actually forgot to add but will 100% be back. As for Asplund and Olofsson I don't see them playing on the Sabres next season, I see them starting in Rochester. Ryan O'Reilly I have getting traded to Montreal for Lehkonen and Schlemko (cap dump) as well as picks. I then would possibly flip the picks and Johan Larsson to acquire Coyle. It's likely Ennis will be bought out by Minnesota and would be a cheap pickup for Buffalo. Lastly, I had no idea of Johnson's comments so I just left him as is. Lehner and Beaulieu also gets dealt for picks. Thanks for the comment this is my first time doing this.
