Patches to the West (don't think this is that unrealistic)

Description
Don't wanna trade Patches, but if he won't play without the C, I'm not sure he is worth keeping, (not sure how much MTL would have to add if any for this to happen)

The best (and most realistic) destination for MTL to trade Patches should be to Calgary:
1. Out of the Conference, unlike Florida, Buffalo and Carolina (he won't burn us that bad)
2. They have an expendable top 4 LHD in Brodie and have Depth at Center for the present and future (Monahan, Backlund, Jankowski, Bennet, Dube, etc.)
3. Calgary are on the rise and could very well contend in the playoffs next year making it a destination Patches might agree to sign in

    Not bad. Really all depends on if CGY adds a C this summer, they won't wanna move Jankowski unless they do so.

    I think LA is a good spot for Patches too

    Ya I don't think CGY needs one of the top available centres, but a 3rd line center who can fill into 2nd/ compete with Backlund would be ideal in my opinion (maybe like a Filipulla, Vermette, Gibbons or Wiinike type guy)
    Ya, was gonna make one for them as well, but MTL would need to get Muzzin and Kempe to make it worth it and I'm not sure if LA would do that

    If you switched Jankowski to Bennett, and then changed the picks to a 3rd and a 5th, we'd have a deal I think.

    Calgary strong on LW already so I think they would want Gallagher, might be only way to get Jankowski
