I would rather keep Pommer for his last year than take on Orpik for 2.

Five stars for Trading O'Reilly.
I guess Snow really wants O'Reilly and McCabe. Beauvillier, A, 2018 1st (10th OA) & Vande Sompel, M would be a very good return for O'Reilly, so Bellows, K ( #19 overall 2016 NHL Entry Draft) must be for McCabe?

Ah my bad, I forgot that the site is still showing the 17/18 season still. I would still rather keep Pommer though.

My thinking was that with Guhle, Dahlin and Nelson all being young an inexperienced, it was more helpful to have an experienced defenseman than having pommer.

also gives pommer one more chance at a cup

As an Oilers fan I of course want Dahlin, but I would be happy if Buffalo got him. Great hockey market that deserves a hockey phenom ??
