I disagree with the above comment. I’m a habs fan and I hate to admit but the leafs are a top D man away from being perennial cup contenders. Moving Nylander along with a high end prospect along with a leivo type player could get the deal done, and one that makes sense for both teams.

Also, there will be no problem with doughty resigning in Toronto, and can even make that a condition before the trade is completed.
