Fair points. Get Pitt to retain on Hagfish? Trade Moulson to any of the bottom ten teams in power play goals, even if you have to retain 2M, to clear another million. Send down two of the guys you've got on the bench to get ice time in the minors. You've got another 1.5M.

Is he never healthy because of who he is, or because of how much he's been asked to do in Buffalo? Maybe in 15 minutes a night he stays healthy, and then his cap hit is totally gone at the end of the year. Or better, at the trade deadline.
