Well, he's one of the energy guys. His job isn't to put up points, he's a good forechecker with great speed and in the case that they'd trade him, they should get a lot in return

Nah I half expect it looking at our RW's - Not sure we'd be able to get a player back like Martinez + salary but it's the right idea

LA will be looking to get faster but the Pens want Rust long term. He can play either wing.
I also don't see how Martinez will counter Letang's lapses in judgement if they aren't playing together. Dumoulin is a solid defensive defenseman and he can only cover so much.
I do agree that they need improved depth so that letang doesn't have to play 27min a game.
Personally I think Letang should start taking a back seat to Schultz as far as minutes played. It's already happened on the power play.
