If Fabbri has a decent bounce back year with no injuries I would move him and a 2nd or 3rd for a decent young LHD.

Panarin is a very hopeful thought, he will probably resign in Columbus.

How does that make sense? Oreilly is a 2 way center, panarin is a flashy winger

Can't see Panarin not signing back in Columbus. Berglund isn't worth a 5th round pick IMO. Your overvaluing O'Reilly. Parayko is the future of the Blues, and trading him for a cancer is not very smart.

If you read above comments I literally said I think Panarin will resign in Columbus.

Berglund is not great but he's worth a 2nd-4th round pick depending on the team and Blues desperation to move him.

Not sure how O' Reilly is a cancer and Carlson and O'Reilly is much better than just Parayko.

Because I would rather take my chance on having Tage Thompson, or Klim Kostin, or Ivan Barbashev. Plus you also have the chance of signing JT

But your forgetting the fact that if we trade petro and you already traded Parayko are blueline is screwed. I play hockey with defense wins championships. and if you screw the blueline up it will only make things worse

We need youth. and Parayko is a potential elite player. I would never trade Parayko in a million years,

Youthful Elite Defenseman, or Older worn out player who has only been a leader because his team was ass?

Yea I think youthful Elite defenseman is the better player

While it most likely will not happen, I'd love to have Panarin. I'm sure Tarasenko would too, considering he tried to get management to sign him from Russia before the Hawks did.

Who said we were trading Petro in this scenario? And this is exactly my point, Carlson is better than Parayko... your arguments make no sense.

Parayko is far from elite and O'Reilly is 27...

First O’Reilly is an overpay. Petro is already in trade talks from what some people have told me. Parayko will be an elite. Another thing if the Blueline isn’t broke don’t fix it. Carlson is already going to want 7-8 mil. I would rather get the same production out of PARAYKO. Because he has been playing that way lately. If I am going to put anything out for trade I would be putting Bergie and JBo out there and if someone wants to offer something for sobie and jaskin fine. Even offer something for petro but don’t screw with the young guns of the future

The blueline is broke for 1. Blues defense was not great last year.
    2. Bouwmeester has a NTC and Jaskin is a UFA so they are not being traded.

O'Reilly makes 7.5 mil at 27 years old and is a solid two way center getting 50-65 points a year. Well worth 7.5 mil.

John Carlson is an all around everything you want in a dman. Good hard shot, plays physical and can skate and move the puck.

Parayko is soft and timid with the puck. Sure he will get a little better but there is no guarantee he turns into an ELITE player.

Would much rather have O'Reilly and Carlson and a great chance to win NOW, then hope all our prospects turn into good players and have another chance to win in 5 year.

Delusional Blues fans cant close the revolving door of "but we have great prospects coming up, we have a bright future". Said the same thing when Perron, Oshie, Berglund, Cole and Eric Johnson were all drafted. Then said the same thing when Vladi Schwartz and Petro were all drafted. Common theme in all of these picks is no number 1 center.
