Description

The current roster is full of wingers and average players. The current need is for one quality LHD and talented centers obviously.

Zadina will add another winger to the mix which is great but that means we have to make room for him.

Trading Pacioretty and Hudon may be the best options for some quality returns.

Thornton is apparently re-signing with SJ. I think our best bet for a top 6 C in the offseason is Stastny.

Pacioretty and Hudon should garner some quality return for sure but CBJ is in the same situation as us, they need centres too so I believe they have little interest in moving a young one signed long term in Wennberg.

I don’t think an aging winger is the best option for Columbus, also we need to keep our centers and Murray is going to be huge for us next year with Werenski being on the shelf to start the year, so if I’m Columbus I wouldn’t take that trade. Sorry.

Joe Thornton is already on record, Stating that he wants to resign back with the Sharks. And will take far less money to do so.

You trade two left wingers for a center and d-man....did you even consider the jackets needs? Btw 5 year at 5 m for Murray?! that's waaaaaaay too much.

Karl Alzner wouldn't even get us a 7th round pick at this point.
