Over pay for Sbisa. He's not good. He's been scratched a lot this year. Greg Pateryn will get more. He's been really solid in a shutdown role with Dallas. Kempny has been so solid for the Caps someone will offer him more than 1.5. 1.5 is an overpay for Bowey. Expecting Samsonov to jump right into a back up role with no AHL time is a bit optimistic.

why are you trading djoo? Sibs is a major downgrade .......i wouldn't trade djoo for a 1st let alone that terrible return....probably would pass on beagle and get some of the younger guys into the line up

Pateryn can play decent minutes on the right side. Hopefully they sign Carlson and don't need him.

Kempny returns.

Orpik, after these playoffs, has positive value. Among defensemen he's first in plus minus at +10, top ten in hits and shot blocks, and top forty in points after two rounds. That means he's a top four defenseman on one of the best eight teams, by four stats that people use to figure out if a defenseman got their job done. He's old, but Chelios and Jagr played well at greater ages. If the Caps can't afford him, three teams probably bid a fourth, and one of them goes home, sleeps on it, and comes back with a 3rd. My money's on Buffalo, who need a mentor/bodyguard for Dahlin, but I certainly wouldn't count out the Islanders.

Grubauer is worth a first, but K. Bellows, or two seconds, or MDC and a 2nd, or Ho-Sang and a 2nd would each get it done.
